This site was created in 2024 by Jeff Edwards of Salisbury East, South Australia.
The objective of this site is to provide a medium for the documentation and hopefully long-term storage and ready access of historical information about members of my own and related families.
Creation of the site was inspired by the recent 98th Birthday celebration by my mother Margaret (Jean) in 2023 and the realization that she is not going to be around forever to share her stories and her wisdom.
The site provides the possibility of gathering as much historical information together for her and her family so that important and invaluable information is not scattered into oblivion as is often the case when people tend to say that that snippet of information is not interesting or important to anyone else.
The site invariable starts off very much like an empty closet, and it is likely to take years to fill it with the information it deserves. If you are able and willing to contribute further information to this site, it will be very much appreciated.
Meanwhile please let me know what you think of the site so far.
